Terms of Service for Flow-Logic

Last updated: March 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Flow-Logic website and application, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the application.

About Flow-Logic

Flow-Logic is a web-based educational tool that allows users to create and simulate flowcharts.

Permitted Use

You agree to use Flow-Logic only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access.

User Files and Content

You are responsible for the content of any flowchart files you create, upload, or download. Flow-Logic does not provide guarantees that files will be preserved, and you should keep backups of important work.

Google Drive and Picker Integration

Flow-Logic optionally provides a “Drive Save” and “Drive Load” feature using Google services:

  • Google Drive API to upload and download Flow-Logic project files (typically .flow).
  • Google Picker API to allow you to select a file from your Google Drive to open.

When you use these features, you authorise Flow-Logic to access files in accordance with the permission it requests (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file).

Your use of Google services is also subject to Google’s own terms and policies.

Purchases and Checkout Details

Paid licences are purchased through Stripe Checkout. To place an order, you must provide accurate checkout details, including your name, work email, school/organisation, school public IP address, and chosen password. You confirm you are authorised to provide this information for your site.

Stripe Processing, Receipts, and VAT

Stripe is the payment processor for Flow-Logic purchases. Payment card details are processed by Stripe, not by Flow-Logic. Stripe sends payment receipts/invoices to the checkout email address and includes tax/VAT information where Stripe Tax applies.

Licence Activation and Access Control

Checkout completion confirms payment, but access is enabled through manual setup. New paid access is normally processed by 19:00 (UK time) each day. Licensed pages are protected by both an authorised public IP and a valid access password, except where an administrator-configured master password is used.

IP Address Changes

If your registered school IP address is incorrect or changes later, you must submit an IP correction request using the website form. Processing is completed manually as part of admin review.

Password Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your access password secure and sharing it only with authorised staff. Do not reuse sensitive passwords from other systems for Flow-Logic access.

Availability

Flow-Logic is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation, or that the service will always be available.

One-Time Payment and Lifetime Access

A one-time payment means a single payment for lifetime access to the purchased Flow-Logic licence for that site. This is intended to guarantee access for life. If Flow-Logic is planned to close because the company stops trading, we will provide at least five (5) years’ notice of permanent site closure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flow-Logic and its developers are not liable for any loss of data, loss of work, service interruption, or damages arising from your use of the application.

Changes to the Service

We may update or modify Flow-Logic (or any part of it) at any time. Any permanent closure of the site is subject to the notice commitment in the “One-Time Payment and Lifetime Access” section above.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated occasionally. Continued use of Flow-Logic after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
